Maidstone I remember it well: My Friend Anne and I worked in a factory called colourlights.which was at the top of willington st any one else remember it ?? and on the other side of the road was the blue door pub which has since been pulled ..i also remember the old Oakwood Hospital in hermitage lane where I lived with my nan and our bedroom looked out onto the garden where the patients used to sit .how all that area has changed ..also who remembers the sausage hut opposite St Martins church on shepway estate and the youth club in the church hall in the 60s my e.mail address is m.reece947@btinternet.com Yes my sister worked at Colourlites here's the bluedoor when the new one was built photos.app.goo.gl/fWAAf2lSPw9YzCmw1

No not mine will have a look.
But Tell him or show hin this The Sausage Hut stood on the corner of Cumberland Avenue and Northumberland Avenue.behind the Toilets opposite the bus stop.was like a big Nissen hut but instead of metal was asbestos (probable why they took it down) was like a village hall. Dances , wedding receptions Jumble sales etc.
There are Pictures o Facebook.more memories of Maidstone .but think of inside .Talk it was the workmen's hut When Shepway was being Built.

Looked through facebook site and was my own that showed it others was inside and could b anywhere Shepway estate 50/60 The Sausage Hut can be seen on here but not clearly
