Maidstone I remember it well: I moved to Maidstone in 57 and left in 69, during that time I worked at Sharps and Kings, both on Gabriel's Hill (tailors) and later at Multi-Broadcast, also on Gabriel's Hill and became a rep: for Manders Paints. In 64 I married Sheila and we bought a house at 49 Upper Fant Road, over the years we made some good friends in Maidstone and have only been back on two occasions, once in 1970 and again in 79. In the intervening years I have lost touch with just about everyone I knew, but I still have great memories of the town and the people. I did visit via YouTube and noted that little had changed over the years, but then why should it, it was doing pretty good for the past few hundred years. Dave Bawden.
