Maidstone I remember it well: I remember Maidstone back in the early 60's. I too went to Brunswick House School, until 1963, when we moved to North Wales. I lived halfway down Buckland Hill, and remember walking many times over the high level bridge in to town.
My father was the Head Chef at The Tudor House Hotel. Very fond memories of Maidstone and the surrounding area. I also remember Mrs Beynon who was Welsh and Mrs Foster.....my goodness I was 5 years old. Now living in Royal Wootton Bassett.

I remember walking/almost running over the high level bridge to get to the east station to see the Golden Arrow train go through as was on are way home from my Grandmothers. Also remember going to the jazz night at the Tudor house see Acker Bilk, Kenny Ball and Alex Welsh and when I was told by a friend that Kenny Ball was at the White Horse Otham .I thought it would be crowded so did not go. Only to find out from my late wife that he was living in Otham an went in there for a Drink.
The Tudor house burnt down a few years back and is now a Golf club thank you Peter
