Strange, I also knew Wolfe Rd as I lived in Chamberlain Ave, 85, moved in 1950, I was 5 and went to West Borough, infants, juniors and seniors until 1958, My memory of Wolfe Rd was that there was a hose at the top that had a cherry tree growing over the wall which we used to visit when they were ripe, in fact surrounded as we were by orchards and strawberry fields there was no shortage of scrumping, the apples always tasted better stright from the tree.

I went to west borough Juniors but only for about a term. Moved to shepway That was a farm and apples trees on the green at the top of the Road.
Maybe the same with the house with the cherry tree just left when that house was built.
