Maidstone I remember it well: Peggy must have been at Cliffords when I was there. I worked in Bank Street Office but had to go to Hart Street when anyone was on holiday. I remember having to pick up paper clips etc from the floor before I went home. Mr William said that the cleaner had only to sweep up dust not money! Mr Bourne was the Office Manager and there was a Miss Bourne there as well but I do not think they were related. There were 4 travelling reps I think one was called Mr Butt. I cant remember the 2 men whom worked in the shop.
