Maidstone I remember it well: I worked for Reed paper in the 70' and 80'. I remember the first time I saw the MG machine house, a line of 3 large paper machines in a line down one side of an impressively large building. Opposite them was I think another paper machine, making newsprint. The whole site was very impressive, with the r&d in a separate building. Its over 15 years sine I left the paper industry but I still gave happy memories, you can take the girl out of the paper mill but you cannot the mill out of girl!
