Maidstone I remember it well: I worked at the London Tavern in 1975 when it was run by a guy called Vince. Mick Martin and the heyday were pretty much over by then but I had the privilege to meet Tony Bathurst, my first love, John Watson, Roger Cable, Mick Forrest and a few others.
The place was heaving, especially the music lounge at the back and I heard Dancing Queen for the very first time there. I loved it! And The Tavern. It was a piece of history.
I went back there in 2006 and it had become a restaurant. Things move on.
My memories of Maidstone? Youth, love, life - that lovely one-responsibility time. Mmmmh mmmmh.

Yes those were the days,I worked with Mick forest around 1978.he played in a Group with the foreman first name Derick can not think off his surname.
I stopped going there about 72 .because 1975 was when the Hare and Hounds got blown up,and I remember where I was when we heard the news of it.
