Graham(nick) Nicklin Maidstone I remember it well: Reference Angela Waller nee (Loft) Angela i remember your brother Robert we used to play football for West Borough he is a couple of years older than me i remember he was a big lad with a curly mop of red hair. I had a couple of friends who lived in the Fant Lane pr-fabs Frank Wright and his sister Pauline and Roger Spice cannot remember his sisters name, i lived in the pr-fabs on Gatland Estate I hope that Robert is well but he probably will not remember me.I hope that you see this little message. Hi Graham! I responded to this message from you some time ago before this site was re-vamped. Regrettably I am not sister to Bob(Robert) Loft who was in the same class as me at West Borough Infant and Junior School. I lived at No.12 Gatland Estate and knew most of the children on the Estate including the Wrights and Spice family. My family with sisters Valerie and Penny and I moved to Hackney Road around 1955. I don't know what eventually became of Robert but, like you, hope he is well and has had a good and happy life. Barry Hynes Maidstone I remember it well: Hello Graham,my family lived in the prefabs in gatland est. they were the sedges you may have known them. Also Bob Loft became a very good amateur boxer and won kent heavyweight titles for the westree boxing club.Regards Barry

Any one got drunk would be taken through the tunnel .There was a bit in the km that the tunnel was used as a work shop for a carpenter.
